All Praise is Due You

Living in South Korea, every ceremony involving national anthems always includes "Aegukga" ( 애국가), the anthem of the Republic of Korea.  The melody of this anthem always strikes me as majestic and fitting of a Christian hymn.

During a morning devotion, I crafted this hymn to the music, using Psalm 65 and Revelation 19.  Enjoy and Praise!

v. 1

All Praise is due You, God in Zion
Our vows to be performed
You who hears prayer, all flesh shall come near
When our burdens prevail.

Our transgressions You Atone for
Chosen to be blessed!
Satisfaction with Your goodness
in the dwelling of God!

v. 2
You answer us by awesome deeds,
Salvation from our God!
Hope of earth, Your strength is established
Mountains girded with might!

He who stills the roaring seas,
the roaring of their waves!
Those who dwell at ends of the earth stand
in awe, shouting for joy!

v. 3
O Come, Lord Jesus, hasten to come!
The heavens hold our gaze!
He will guide us to living water,
Gone is mourning evermore!

To the Lamb we shall be married
Hallelujah, Lord!
Give Him glory, praise forever!
Praise and honor to Him!
